Upcoming Events

Friends of EAA Chapter 1099,

I hope those of you who attended our May meeting enjoyed the RV-1 as much as I did.  We had a great turnout and enjoyed the replaying of the Webinar by Dick VanGrunsven on the history of the RV-1.  Thanks for all who came out.

This Saturday, 12 May, we will be hosting our first Pancake Breakfast Fly-in and Young Eagles event of the year at Stafford Regional (KRMN).  We will be serving pancakes beginning at OH SEVEN HUNDRED HOURS and will begin YE flights around 9:00am.  For those of you who may be attending the Manassas Regional Airport Airshow, keep in mind it does not start until 1000 and you gotta eat!  Come by Stafford early and "eat and get gas"...I am talking about 100LL here, okay!  :-)  Seriously, come on out and eat and then help out with Young Eagles or go to the airshow and commit aviation!

We do still need some good help to make this Pancake Breakfast a success.  Please contact me or Mike Logan (michaellogan41@gmail.com) if you can help out or have supplies that we can use.

Here is a list of items that we need assistance with for the Pancake Breakfast:

1. salt & pepper

2. plastic spoons

3. Aluminum foil

4. hand sanitizer

5. gloves

6. canola oil

7. OJ

8. sausage

9. butter

10. coffee pots (big ones)

11. generators

Hope to see you all on Tuesday

Lindy
